Kiran Paranjape has been appointed general manager – India for Universal, the Stoughton, Wis.-headquartered supplier of acoustic and emission technologies. In his new role. Paranjape will have overall responsibility of the business including marketing, promotions, sales and production of Universal’s products and technologies throughout India. He will operate out of a business office in Pune.
Paranjape previously served as director of global sourcing at Cummins Filtration. He also was general manager for Nelson Engine Systems, later Cummins Exhaust, from 2001 to 2006.
