Lincoln Electric Adds Acquisition VP

Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., Cleveland, said it has appointed Robert K. Gudbranson as vice president, strategic planning and acquisitions. John M. Stropki, chairman and chief executive officer, said, "Rob has very quickly become a key member of our global management team. With growth through acquisitions being a fundamental part of our overall strategy, Rob has an important role to fill in ensuring Lincoln's future success."
Gudbranson returned to Lincoln Electric in September, 2005 as director, strategic planning & acquisitions. Between 1994 and 1998, he served as a technical sales representative at the company's main U.S. subsidiary and then as assistant treasurer for risk management and strategic planning.
