Same Deutz-Fahr Acquires Turkish Joint Venture
Same Deutz-Fahr announced that it has acquired 100% of the shares of its joint venture with Turkey’s Şahsuvaroğlu Group. No financial details were provided.
The joint venture was established in November of 2012. The Italian tractor manufacturer now has acquired the last 15% of the joint venture owned by the Şahsuvaroğlu family. The acquisition includes commercial activities in Istanbul and a production plant in the city of Bandirma, a seaport on the Sea of Marmara in northwestern Turkey.
Same Deutz-Fahr said the operation will become a new subsidiary in Turkey called Same Deutz-Fahr Traktör Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
