Manitowoc Strike Over

The two month old strike at Manitowoc Co.’s Crane Division has ended with the union, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, accepting a new contract.

Local press reports said the union voted 112-59 to end the strike. Terms of the new contract were not immediately available.
