New Global Combination For Vehicle Electronics

Posted on February 12, 2013

Following a pair of 2012 acquisitions that broadened its product range of instrumentation systems and components for the industrial and off-highway vehicle and equipment markets, Maxima Technologies has now merged its three operations into one global business under a new brand identity. maximatecc will offer a wide spectrum of vehicle control solutions dedicated to satisfying different market needs.

Further, with the two companies that were acquired — Turotest, a Brazilian supplier of instrumentation products, and CrossControl, a Swedish provider of advanced control and display solutions, the combined company will have an international footprint that will enable the company to offer global OEMs the option of local manufacturing, logistics support and services.

“Based on the legacy of three great companies we are building a brand that positions the company in the market and resonates with our strategic direction and ambitions,” said President John Buck. “I strongly feel that we are building a company that can be a full-fledged partner to OEMs globally, offering a solution continuum that helps OEMs meet the needs of different markets with varying maturity and characteristics”.

The company said that the efficiency and performance of industrial vehicles is highly dependent on how well the operator can utilize the capabilities of the machine and that this will be a key differentiator for vehicle OEMs going forward. The maximatecc solution portfolio for user interaction, vehicle control and wireless connectivity is aimed to enable OEMs to efficiently realize sharp user interaction and value-adding operator support systems.
