Mecalac’s New Tracked Excavators, Telescopic Loaders

Posted on February 5, 2013

Mecalac will introduce two new models in its MCR range of tracked excavators and two telescopic loaders, the first in the new AT series, at Bauma.

The MCR range is a combination of a compact excavator with a compact loader and two new models are now available in the 6- and 10-tonne class, powered by four-cylinder turbocharged intercooled Cummins engines. The 6MCR has a maximum power output of 55 kW, while the 10MCR reaches 74 kW. MCR models are tracked excavators designed to travel at speeds of up to 10 km/h. As compact loaders, they offer 360° rotation capability and can change from excavator mode to skid loader mode in seconds by a simple switch. MCR machines are equipped with dual closed circuit hydrostatic transmission with Dual Senso Drive engineered to allow them to work and travel simultaneously without loss of performance.

Mecalac is also launching the new AT range of four-wheel steer telescopic loaders, starting with the first two machines being introduced at Bauma. The AT 900 comes with bucket volumes from 0.9 to 1.5 m, while the larger machine, the AT 1050, can use buckets ranging between 1.05 and 1.6 m. Both are equipped with four-cylinder Cummins diesel engines rated kW. With this series, Mecalac is specifically targeted the building, industry/recycling, agricultural and municipal sectors.

Mecalac is area F7, Booth 715.
