New Coolant Tanks And Filters From Mann+Hummel

Posted on February 28, 2013

Filtration specialist Mann+Hummel will launch a new line of easy-to-configure plastic coolant expansion tanks at bauma 2013. The MCR Series tanks are designed for mobile off-highway and stationary applications with low- to medium-size production batches.

Also in Munich, Mann+Hummel will debut a range extension for its Entaron XD line of dual-stage high performance air filters. Complementing the existing range that covers nominal flow capacities of 7 to 14 m3/min, the new XD 40 filter will expand the upper end of the product line and have a flow capacity of 40 m3/min. The XD 40 is 19% more compact, said Mann+Hummel, and utilizes a new high performance filter media that incorporates glue string technology to stabilize the filter pleats for additional protection.

In addition to the Entaron XD 40 filter, a single-stage filter variant will be available under the name Entaron MD 40, for use in applications such as stationary compressors or generator sets.
