FeedCarraro And CNH Renew Supply Agreement
Italian powertrain component manufacturer Carraro Drive Tech announced that it has renewed an agreement with CNH that will cover the supply of axles and transmissions until December of 2016. Worth approximately €360 million (US$482 million), the agreement validates contracts already in place for axles and transmissions for backhoe loaders and adds new application areas, including transmission systems for telehandlers, wheel loaders, agricultural tractors, cotton pickers and dozers.
With the new agreement Carraro Drive Tech products cover almost the full range of Case and New Holland machine brands for agricultural and earth moving equipment worldwide. Carraro said the consolidation of the relationship with CNH will include the future supply of gears and assemblies manufactured by Gear World, another business unit of the Carraro Group.
