Pressure Transducers

Honeywell has expanded its heavy-duty pressure product line with the development of a new range of highly configurable, stainless steel pressure transducers. The PX2 series pressure transducers are engineered to be resistant to moderately harsh media such as brake and hydraulic fluids, engine oil, compressed air and refrigerants.

The PX2 series units incorporate piezoresistive sensing technology with ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning. Their compatibility with varied media, combined with up to IP69K protection and CE compliance, allow for reliable performance in tough environments, Honeywell said. The PX2 Series is fully calibrated and compensated for transducer offset, sensitivity, temperature effects, and non-linearity using an on-board ASIC.

The total error band of ±2% over the compensated temperature range of -40 ° to 257 °F (-40 º to 125 ºC) provides enhanced interchangeability due to minimal part-to-part variation in accuracy, eliminates individual transducer testing and calibration and supports customer system accuracy and warranty requirements, the company said.
