J.R. Merritt has introduced the new CS3HD joystick to its controller lineup. The joystick is based on the design of the company’s CS3 joystick. It has a Hall-effect sensor incorporated and is offered with one-, two- or three-axis control. A variety of standard and custom options are available with the CS3HD, including a Hall-effect twist third axis with spring return to center.

According to J.R. Merritt, The 0.39 in. diameter operating shaft and internal mechanism of the CS3HD joystick makes it compatible with the new FG-5 universal hand grip. This multi-function grip is used for left-hand or right-hand operation. The FG-5 includes a longer barrel for operators with large hands or gloves and a removable face plate, which can be configured with a combination of buttons, thumbwheels, rocker switches and toggles.

The CS3HD joystick and FG-5 universal grip are used in combination for operator control in on- and off-highway industrial vehicles.
