Isuzu To Build Truck Diesels in China

According to various Asian press reports, Isuzu will start producing truck diesel engines in China at a joint venture in Chongqing, Sichuan Province. The venture is forecasting production of 170,000 diesel engines a year and expects to reach full capacity by 2009. Isuzu has produced its N-series light duty trucks in partnership with Qingling Motors in 1985.
