United Alloy Expanding

United Alloy Inc., Janesville, Wis., said it is doubling the size of its operations in Janesville.  The company said it will build a 112,500 sq. ft. addition to its plant. United Alloy manufactures steel diesel tanks, generator frames and other components sold to the power generation market.  United Alloy said it has seen growing demand for the steel fuel tanks, frames and trailers.

The company said it evaluated whether to expand production in the southeastern United States before deciding to expand in Janesville. The project is targeted for completion by the end of September, 2014.
