Kawasaki Offering FS, FX Short Blocks
The Engines and Power Products Division of Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. announced that it will be making short block engine assemblies available for its FS and FX gasoline engines. This will allow lawn care professionals to extend the operational life of mowers using those engines, the company said. The new short block engine assemblies will be available at authorized Kawasaki Engine Dealers throughout the country.
The FS engines are vertical shaft V-twin engines available in displacements of 603 and 726 cc and ratings from 14.5 to 24 hp. The FX series consists of 603, 726, 852 and 999 cc vertical shaft V-twins rated from 15.5 to 37 hp.
“This represents a huge step forward for professionals that depend on their Kawasaki-powered equipment,” said Executive Director Rodger Howe “Pros count on their mowers for continued in-field performance and we’re providing genuine Kawasaki quality and reliability while reducing the time required for an engine rebuild.”
According to the company, gasket kits are included with every short block assembly, and assemblies are shipped with an attached oil filter.
