Aftertreatment Remanufacturing JV Announced
SRC Corp., Springfield, Mo. and Hexadex Ltd., Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, UK have announced a North American joint venture for remanufacturing aftertreatment components and systems.
Ceramex North America LLC is scheduled to begin operation on September 1 in Springfield and will focus on proprietary emissions and aftertreatment remanufacturing processes for the on-highway, off-highway and automotive markets.
Specifically, Ceramex will remanufacture diesel particulate filters, diesel oxidation catalysts and catalytic converters.
Hexdex has three UK subsidiaries; Eminox Ltd. a manufacturer of stainless steel exhaust systems and emissions control systems for heavy-duty engines; Teconnex Ltd. a manufacturer of stainless steel Vee retainer clamps and T-bolt band clamps; and Ceramex Ltd. with focus on diesel particulate filter cleaning processes.
SRC Corp. supplies OEM customers with specialty drivetrain and power delivery products, programs and related services. The 30-year old company remanufactures products for the agricultural, industrial, construction, truck, marine and automotive markets, as well as core logistics, disassembly, cleaning, machining, assembly and testing of a range of products from engines and fuel injectors to large off-highway transmissions
