MAN Truck & Bus To Launch New Engines At Agritechnica
MAN Truck & Bus announced it will unveil a new engine for natural gas and biogas applications at the upcoming Agritechnica show in Hanover, Germany. The new engine will be based on the company’s existing V8 engine platform and will offer a maximum power output of 370 kW (496 hp).
More details will be provided at Agritechnica, the company said.
MAN said it will also present a new inline diesel engine for agricultural machinery applications at the show. Through the use of modular exhaust gas aftertreatment, variable geometry turbochargers and a compact design, the engine can be flexibly adapted to different applications and installation situations, the company said. The engine will meet EU Stage 4 and EPA Tier 4 final exhaust standards, while variants will also be available for regions with less stringent exhaust emissions regulations.
