More Changes In Manitou Management

Manitou Group has announced further changes to its executive management. As an extension to the transition activity that began in March, General Secretary Hervé Saulais will leave the group by mutual agreement at the end of the first half of 2013. He will be succeeded by Hervé Rochet, the group’s chief financial officer since 2005, who will remain in that position as well as serve as general secretary.

François-Frédéric Piffard has been appointed vice president of Sales and Marketing. He previously served as vice president of New Business and again, he will combine that post with his new responsibilities.

In March, the company announced that President and CEO Jean-Christophe Giroux stepped down, succeeded on an interim basis by Dominque Bamas, who has served as an independent board member at Manitou since June 2009. At the same time, the company announced the departure of Henri Brisse as Manitou’s worldwide vice president of sales and marketing.

Headquartered in Ancenis, France, the Manitou Group  designs, manufactures and distributes material-handling equipment  for the construction, agricultural and industrial sectors.
