Senior Management Changes At Enercon

Enercon Engineering, East Peoria, Ill., which designs and manufactures controls, switchgear, power generation packages and enclosures, and co-generation packages for customer supplied generator sets, has announced changes within its senior management group.

Lawrence Tangel, (pictured) Enercon vice president and general manager became the company’s new chief executive officer, replacing Edward Tangel, who founded Enercon in 1975, and will now serve as chairman of the board.

G. Jack Desatnick has been appointed as Enercon’s chief operating officer. Desatnick had served as Enercon’s chief financial officer, and will continue with this responsibility in addition to his new post. Desatnick has over 27 years of experience in senior management in operations and finance. All three moves were effective April 15, 2008.
