New VP Of Engineering At Horton

Horton, Inc. has appointed Joe Herzog as vice president of engineering for all Horton products. Herzog will be based at Horton’s Roseville, Minn., headquarters, reporting to Randall Nord, president and chief executive officer.

Herzog comes to Horton from Polaris Industries, where he directed the design and development of Polaris engines and transmissions. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Cummins Power Generation, where he held positions as a design and application engineer, engineering manager, engineering director and general manager. Herzog also worked for Deere & Co. as a design engineer for logging and construction equipment.
